    Eric Njiru also known as’ karemba‘ is the first man of the ‘mokorino‘ religion to be elected to parliament.

    He will be representing the people of Runyenjes.

    mokorinoHe won the sit with 56,546 votes which was 85% of the votes in the area.He was running on a Jubilee party ticket.

    The win has elicited a lot of joy from ‘Mokorinos‘ in Runyenjes and the country at large.

    The Akorino religion emerged  in the 1920s from the Kikuyu community who refused to heed to missionary teachings.
