Former Westlands MP and Raila Odinga’s ally Fred Gumo has called on his long time friend to retire from politics.
Speaking at a Jubilee rally on Saturday at the Uhuru Park, Gumo told his former party leader that ‘if you fail so many times, your teacher will ask you to go home and marry.’
“It can never be one person all the time. Even in school if you fail so many times your teacher will send you home to go and marry. Raila should know that this thing was not meant for him. He is now an elder who should consider joining me for some ‘nyama choma’ out there.”
He said that age had finally caught up with the Rt. Honorable Prime Minister and he should consider throwing in the towel.
Gumo was among the founders of Orange Democratic Movement but decamped and has been campaigning for the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Also decamping from the Orange Movement was Reuben Ndolo who accused the NASA camp of taking everything him from him.
He claimed that they (NASA) rigged him out and then stole his wife.
