Hashmart managing director Mansoor Hussein says the Star X smart digital TVs come in different sizes and prices on the online retailer– from 24-inch to 65-inch sizes.

“With an LED backlighted screen, Star X smart digital TV series produce brilliant colour and contrast while maintaining energy efficiency. It also comes playback capabilities for video, photos and music and connection through HDMI and USB. You can watch from almost any point in the room with the TV’s 178 degree viewing angle,” says Hussein.

Under the current offer, the 32-inch smart digital TV is going for Ksh16,499, down from Ksh20,000, compared to over Ksh30,000 in shops and for other brands.

The Star X smart digital TV has smart capabilities such as surfing the internet. It supports Youtube videos through the pre-installed YouTube app that gives access music, documentaries and vlogs.

The manufacturers say that the TV has quality sound that is already impressive even without an external sound system.

“Just like most of other modern TVs, Star X TVs use the Dolby technology to offer enhanced sound quality. Users can still connect to a separate sound system to get a more up close sound experience,” reads a statement from the manufacturers.

Under the offer, buyers can can get digital TV deals for as low as Ksh12,500 for the 24-inch variety.
