    Knowing how to check balance on FNB cellphone banking is useful when you want to monitor your money without visiting a branch or using an ATM. FNB cellphone banking allows customers to access certain banking services directly from a mobile phone. You can check your available balance using the cellphone banking menu, provided your number is registered for the service.

      • Dial the FNB Cellphone Banking Service
      • Log In to Cellphone Banking
      • Select the Balance Enquiry Option
      • Review Your Account Balance

      Open Your Phone Dialler

    Start by opening the dialling application on the cellphone number registered with your FNB account.

    You do not necessarily need mobile data to access USSD-based cellphone banking.

    • Open the phone dialler
    • Use your registered cellphone number
    • Ensure your phone has network coverage
    1. Dial the FNB Cellphone Banking Service

    Enter the official FNB cellphone banking USSD service code and press the call button.

    Wait for the cellphone banking menu to appear on your screen.

    • Enter the FNB cellphone banking code
    • Press call
    • Wait for the menu to load
    1. Log In to Cellphone Banking

    Follow the prompts to access your FNB cellphone banking account.

    You may be asked to enter your cellphone banking PIN or other security information.

    • Follow the instructions
    • Enter your cellphone banking PIN
    • Keep your PIN private
    1. Select the Balance Enquiry Option

    Look through the available banking options and select the option for checking your account balance.

    The menu may display your available balance after you make your selection.

    • Choose the balance enquiry option
    • Select the relevant account
    • Wait for your balance to appear
    1. Review Your Account Balance

    Check the amount displayed on your phone and make sure you have selected the correct account if you have more than one FNB account.

    You can then exit the cellphone banking menu.

    • Confirm the account
    • Check the available balance
    • Exit the service when finished
