If you no longer use Uber Eats or simply want to clear your digital footprint, deleting your Uber Eats account is a relatively simple process. Since Uber Eats is connected to your main Uber account, deleting it will remove your access to all Uber services, including ride-hailing. Here is how to delete Uber eats account.
- Open the Uber App or Go to the Website
Launch the Uber app on your phone, or visit www.uber.com in a browser. You’ll need to sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings
Tap on the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner of the app. Then, select “Settings” from the list of options.
- Access the Privacy Section
Scroll down and tap on “Privacy” or “Privacy Center.” If you’re using the website, you may need to go directly to privacy.uber.com.
- Request to Delete Your Account
Look for the option that says “Delete Your Account” or “Account Deletion.” Tap or click it.
- Verify Your Identity
Uber may ask you to log in again or verify your identity via a code sent to your email or phone number. Enter the code to continue.
- Confirm Deletion
Uber will show a summary of what deleting your account entails. Tap or click “Continue” and confirm that you want to delete the account.
- Account is Deactivated First
Your account will first be deactivated for 30 days. During this period, you can still recover it by logging back in. After 30 days, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
