Wafula Chebukati, IEBC Chairman says three returning officers have been replaced over delays in Embakasi East, Westlands and Kasarani constituencies.
A clerk has also been fired after stamping a ballot paper as rejected.
The exercise in the three said constituencies has since kicked off with no technical hitches reported.
