A journalist has recorded statement with police in Parklands accusing Imenti Central Member of Parliament Gideon Mwiti Irea of sexually assaulting her in one of his offices.
The woman who is admitted at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital claims that Gideon Mwiti brutally assaulted and sexually exploited her when she visited him in his private office in Westlands on Saturday night.
The MP who is remembered as one of the masterminds of the pyramid schemes where Kenyans lost millions of shillings owns Kenya Akiba Micro Finance Ltd and runs a pub located in Westlands.
It is not clear the police has not arrested the MP but the ordeal traumatised the 29-year-old married woman who also accused the legislator of beating and repeatedly sexually abusing her before she managed to escape.
