Former nominated Senator, Joy Gwendo has been apprehended by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) officers on abuse of office charges.
The former legislator is apparently at Integrity house where she is being questioned.
Ms Gwendo allegedly stole, issued a cheque of Sh2.2 million that bounced, belonging to a members of a cooperative society, Kisumu between October and December 2016.

She was released on bail and will appear in court on Monday.
