A London judge has ruled that the controversial Wikileaks head, Julian Assange,  to be extradited to Sweden for further questioning on allegations of sexual offences. The court has granted Assange 7 days to appeal against the deccision. Assange’s case had been adjourned for todayon January 11. He first had to stay at a friends mansion in Norfolk, London, but that was amended later to a different location in London.

He would have to pay a £200,000 cash deposit, then a further £40,000 in sureties of £20,000 his movement is restricted for teh 7 days awaiting his appeal.

Many companies like Mastercard, Visa and Paypal have refused to deal with Wikileaks and Assange but the embattled head of the leaks organisation is rumoured to have signed a book deal worth $1.5 million to help him defend himself and keep Wikileaks afloat. His former deputy is also set to launch the Openleaks website.

A group of anonymous hackers have targeted “Wikileaks enemies” shutting many websites and disrupting the services of others.
