Maendeleo ya wanaume  chairman Nderitu Njoka has asked the police to save the men of Murang’a from their wives.

Speaking at a press conference he noted that Murang’a men formed the greatest majority of violence against men. He said that police are usually slow in reacting to incidences of violence against men which eventually leads to death.

He was speaking after a 22 year old lady was arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband in Kangema.

He offered married couples facing problems to go to his organisation to get counseling saying that the chiefs and churches had failed in offering such services.

“It is also hard to ask for help from people who may have contributed to the problem in the first place,” he said.

He also asked the courts to punish the suspects of such crimes so as it can serve as an example to those thinking of following the same path.
