Marco Rubio is a prominent American politician, attorney, and diplomat.

Career
Rubio’s professional journey began after earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Florida in 1993 and a Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 1996.
Early in his career, he worked as an attorney and entered public service as a city commissioner in West Miami from 1998 to 2000.
He was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in a 2000 special election, serving until 2008.
