Former Suna East Parliamentary aspirant and businessman Patrick Odipo has blamed his rival and Incumbent MP Junnet Mohammed for his legal woes.
EACC detectives on Tuesday 14th November arrested Odipo for impersonation and submitting falsified declaration forms to the electoral agency (IEBC)
In an exclusive phone interview with Kahawa Tungu, Odipo said Junnet was angered by NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi’s move to push for an Amani National Congress (ANC)EALA nomination slot that he intended for Odipo.

“Junnet is behind my arrest because he wants that when my name is tabled for nomination, I will be marred by criminal charges,” he said.
Odipo vied against Mohammed in the Augusts 8th election on Mudavadi’s ANC ticket in a tightly contested race that was ridden with violence and narrowly lost to the ODM Director of elections, Mohammed.
The politician added that he will move to the High court to bar EACC from investigating him saying, “I am not a public figure and they should not investigate me for anything.”
