
Relief for Nation Media’s Larry Madowo, Ken Mijungu and Managing Editor, Linus Kaikai after the High Court temporarily barred the police from arresting them.
Judge Luka Kimaru granted the three anticipatory bail of Sh100,000 each pending the hearing and determination of a suit they filed on Thursday.
The judge also ordered the three journalists to avail themselves at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) offices on Monday to aid in the investigations.
The trio spent Wednesday night in the newsroom for fear of being apprehended by plain-clothed officers who camped at the Nation Centre.

NTV was one of the three media houses that was shut down by the Communications Authority on Tuesday for providing live coverage for the ‘illegal’ swearing in’ of Raila Odinga.
Interior CS, Fred Matiang’i speaking on Wednesday noted that the three would remain closed pending investigations.
”The government was and is aware of the role of some elements in the media fraternity who participated in furtherance of this illegal act. Their complicity would have led to thousands of deaths of innocent Kenyans due to the build up of the incitement that was witnessed in early hours of the morning of 30th January 2018.”
