Orange Kenya is set to launch lower calling rates tomorrow. Sources tell me that we might see major reductions in data and SMS rates. Orange has previously fought hard against price wars and lobbied the Ministry of information and communications to regulate how much low a player can lower its rates.
Orange, just like Safaricom, might be throwing in the towel and bowing down to price wars. Lets wait and see what Orange will unveil tomorrow.
