More than 500 universities and colleges are expected to take part in the inaugural Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) National Career Conference and Exhibition from January 27 to 29, 2026 in Nairobi.

The three-day event, organised by KUCCPS, the government body responsible for placing students in universities and colleges and coordinating career guidance programmes, will be held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).

The forum is timed ahead of the launch of the 2026 university and college placement applications and will bring together Form Four leavers, secondary school students, teachers, parents, career guidance experts, and other education stakeholders.

Under the theme “Informed Career Choices; A Skilled and Competitive Workforce,” the event will provide information sessions and interactive discussions aimed at helping students make informed decisions about their academic and career paths for the 2026/2027 placement cycle.

KUCCPS is the official authority on career guidance and student placement in Kenya, ensuring that students are matched with programmes that align with their interests and qualifications. The conference will leverage KUCCPS’ expertise to guide students towards careers that support a skilled and competitive workforce.
