    Esther Passaris Goes On A ‘Dry Fast’ Ahead of Elections

    Nairobi woman representative ODM candidate Esther Passaris has taken to dry fasting head of the August 8th elections.

    Dry fasting entails abstinence from food and water for a defined timeline.

    She took to twitter to announce the same stating that she was dry fasting and focusing on prayer to allow Kenya to rise above the hate

    The tweet excited Kenyan on twitter and they reacted in different ways.

    Day 2 on my Esther dry fast. I am about to go into worship and prayer for us to rise above hate with love and be #OneKenya as God intended.

    A myriad of tweeps however asked Esther Passaris to keep her fast between herself and God but she responded by saying that if sharing your spiritual journey should be private the we would have the bible sharing the spiritual happenings

    She will be running for the seat for the second time against the incumbent Rachel Shebesh.
