An unidentified man is nursing his wounds after being shot by a suspected thug in the City Centre on Tuesday evening along Latema road.
The police are said to have spotted a suspicious motorcycle carrying four people. They pursued the said motorists to Latema road where there was an exchange of fire.
One of the thugs started shooting at the police while the others tried getting away.
The three were arrested while the armed one got away after shooting an innocent bystander.
The wounded man was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.
A knife was recovered from the three thugs.
