Former Prime minister and NASA leader Raila Odinga has finally disclosed the reason that inspired the handshake between him and president Uhuru Kenyatta.
He said that he looked into hi conscious and saw that the meeting was the only way the country could achieve peace and not be divided into two.
Speaking to a congregation at Friends Church Maringo in Makadara, the ODM party leader likened His and Uhuru’s wisdom to the biblical story of King Solomon where he give too women fighting for a baby an opportunity to split the child but the real mother declined.
Raila said that the president and him chose to have a full and a healthy child called Kenya rather than spiting Kenya in to two halves and kill it just like the biblical real mother who was willing to let her child go rather than loosing it.
The veteran politician said that the unity of the country was important,and that Kenyans needed to read from one script.

“Kenya is greater than any individual or anyone’s ambition,” the NASA leader said.
The former prime minister was accompanied by Makadara MP Hon George Aladwa, Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang, nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi and various Members of the county assembly.
