President William Ruto Sunday led leaders in mourning the passing of Ol Kalou Member of Parliament, David Njuguna Kiaraho, describing him as a humble, steadfast and visionary leader whose dedication to public service left an enduring mark.
He died at the Nairobi Hospital.

“His life stands as an inspiration to leaders of this generation to rise above political rivalry and remain focused on service and the core issues that matter to the people. May his ‘Kazi Kwanza, Siasa Baadaye’ legacy endure. Rest in peace, Mheshimiwa.”
Kiaraho, who died on Sunday, was born on October 2, 1963 and was serving his third term as Ol Kalou MP, having first been elected in 2013.
He held membership in the Departmental Committee on Transport & Infrastructure and the Procedure and House Rules Committee. Before joining politics, he trained as an architect at the University of Nairobi and served as Principal Architect at Archgrid Systems, where he oversaw numerous infrastructure projects.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi said the country has lost a dedicated public servant who served his constituents with diligence and a strong sense of responsibility.
“His contribution to public service and the development of Ol Kalou will be remembered with respect and gratitude. My condolences go out to his family, relatives, friends, and the people of Ol Kalou during this difficult time. May they find strength and comfort in the legacy he leaves behind. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” he said.
