Seems Like President Uhuru’s State House is Unknowingly ENDORSING Poaching

    Ivory 4

While Kenya is crying over the increased incidences of poaching, State House Nairobi is continuing to show support for ivory ornaments.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has recently been photographed with ivory decorations in State House. This is despite State House desperately trying to prove to all and sundry that Kenya doesn’t support poaching. Whether real or imitations, it is completely foolish for anyone to have ivory decorations in State House.

It is like the issue of exotic but endangered species of sea fish which found their way in Chinese tables. You can’t claim to fight for the preservation of endangered animals while you are serving it to your guests. There is no reason why ivory tusks should be promoted by State House through decorations and ornaments.

President Uhuru’s government must stop playing with the minds of Kenyans and be serious in the fight against poaching.
