Former Mombasa county Governor aspirant, Suleiman Shahbal has threatened to ‘file private prosecution case against’ Mombasa Governor, Hassan Joho and Kilifi’s Amason Kingi.
Shahbal said that their actions amounted to ‘treason’ and that it was NASA leader, Raila Odinga’s doing.
“For the record, if this nonsense persists, please be forewarned that I will file a private prosecution case of treason against these irresponsible politicians. Do not divide Kenya,” he said.
This is political sycophancy answering the call from Raila who is now desperately clutching at straws for political relevance,” he continued.
Kingi and Joho while speaking about seceding, said that people from the coast were politically and economically marginalized.
But according to Mr Suleiman, the coastal people were responsible for their won marginalization specially because of lack of education among the leaders.

“Most of our political leaders have limited or fake education credentials – are these the people who will recognize the value of education?”he posed.
Kingi and Joho said they will use all legal means to make sure the coast secedes from Kenya.
It came hours after their coalition called for the boycott of Safaricom, Bidco and Brookside products.
