Thomas Rhett Akins Jr. was born on March 30, 1990, in Valdosta, Georgia. He is the son of country singer and songwriter Rhett Akins and Paige Braswell. He also has a younger sister named Kasey and two half-brothers from his parents’ subsequent marriages.
