The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has asked unemployed teachers across the country to update their details in its database.

In a notice issued on March 31, 2026, the Commission said it is carrying out a nationwide exercise to update records of registered teachers who are not currently employed by TSC.

“The purpose of this exercise is to update the existing records for effective teacher workforce planning, including establishing the demand and supply of qualified teachers to inform recruitment and related policies,” the notice stated.

TSC said the information required includes teachers’ academic qualifications, subject specialisation and level of training.

The Commission assured that all submitted data will be handled in line with the Data Protection Act and its privacy guidelines.

Teachers are required to submit their details online through the TSC website under the “Online Services” section by updating their teacher profiles.

The Commission has extended the deadline for submission to midnight on April 7, 2026.
