Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has been accused of high-handedness in the past and is now on the spot for using his “goons” to clobber a Kiambu businesswoman.
The woman, identified as Wambui wa Githurai was apparently trying to serve the governor with a court order barring the county government from taking down her business premises.
Wambui was apparently in the company of John Mugwe who allegedly suffered a broken neck, and Shujaa Karanja Muchai.
It is as the businesswoman tried to furnish the county boss with the order that trouble erupted.
A Kiambu resident only identified as The Don claimed that Waititu who has been at loggerheads with his Deputy, James Nyoro, is using the outlawed Mungiki sect members as his county reinforcement team.
“Waititu called his goons on us who are operating as “County Reinforcement” officers.
They are operating with MOs of Mungiki; rungus and knives. They stormed on us and injured Hon John Mugwe, Wambui Githurai, Goody and a few others,” The Don alleged.
The county boss has also been accused of poorly handling the healthcare sector which has deteriorated since his taking over the reigns of power.
Waititu, popularly known as Baba Yao is apparently on a trip to the US and will jet in on August 29.
