    11 Die In A Grisly Accident At Gilgil

    11 people have died this morning in a grisly accident at Gilgil that involved a head-on collision between a Climax bus and a truck.

    Several others have sustained serious injuries and have  been rushed to Gilgil Sub-County Hospital.

    Area OCPD Emannel Opru, while confirming the accident said that the bus was trying to overtake when the collision happened.

    The bus was ferrying passengers from Vihiga to Nairobi while the truck that was heading to Nakuru.

    “Eleven people died on the spot, among them seven women and four men. Four other people were taken to the Naivasha Sub-County Hospital,” said Mr Opuru.
