    Microsoft Agrees To Partnership Deal With Strathmore Law School

    strathmore, microsoftMicrosoft and Strathmore Law School have signed a policy partnership deal that will see the university benefit from the construction of a Policy Innovation Centre.

    The move will provide a new digital platform for the Law School and students will be able to access more content online.

    As part of the agreement the school will conduct regular meetings at the Policy Innovation Centre for academia, industry, government and policy experts.

    The new Sh41.2 million centre is Microsoft’s first establishment to be set up outside the companies territory.

    Dr. Luis Franceschi, the dean of the Strathmore Law School says the university aims at facilitating policy making partnerships among public and private firms.

    According to Christopher Akiwumi, Director for Government and Regulatory Affairs for Microsoft Middle East and Africa this will provide a place for policies to be discussed and fostered.

    “The benefits are endless, having the potential to transform businesses, countries, and make way for innovations for consumers and create economic opportunities.”said Mr Akiwumi.
