Three judges have been nominated to serve on Kenya’s High Court Advisory Committee (HiCAC), the Principal Judge announced in a gazette notice dated January 30, 2026.

High Court Principal Judge Eric Ogola named Hon. Justice Anthony Kimani Ndung’u, Presiding Judge of Nanyuki High Court, Hon. Justice James Wakiaga, Presiding Judge of Makadara High Court, and Hon. Justice Stella Ngali Mutuku, Presiding Judge of the Civil Division of the High Court, as members of the committee. The judges will serve a three-year term.

The High Court Advisory Committee, established under Section 23(1) of the High Court (Organization and Administration) Act, advises the Principal Judge on judicial policy, training, and capacity building for judges and court officers. Chaired by the Principal Judge, the committee plays a key role in improving court efficiency, case management, and access to justice.
