Achraf Hakimi Mouh is a Moroccan professional footballer born on 4 November 1998 in Madrid, Spain.

He plays as a right-back for Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 and captains the Morocco national team.

Hakimi is widely regarded as one of the best right-backs in the world, celebrated for his exceptional pace, attacking flair, overlapping runs, defensive solidity, and ability to contribute with goals and assists from the flank.

Born to Moroccan parents of Arab descent, he grew up in Getafe facing economic challenges, with his father working as a street vendor and his mother as a housewife.

He chose to represent Morocco internationally despite being eligible for Spain.

Seeking more playing time, he enjoyed highly successful loan spells at Borussia Dortmund, where his explosive performances in the Bundesliga made him a star.

He played a pivotal role in the club’s domestic dominance and their historic first UEFA Champions League triumph in 2025, notably scoring in the final.

Internationally, he has been a cornerstone for Morocco, captaining the side, leading them to a historic fourth-place finish at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and contributing to further successes in African competitions.
