Kashiwa Reysol striker Michael Olunga has been ruled out of the forthcoming Kenya clash with Ghana due to an injury.

Zesco United forward Jesse Were has been summoned by head coach Sebastien Migne to take his slot.

Kenya take on Ghana in the final fixture of the Afcon 2019 Group F qualifiers at Accra Stadium, Accra – Ghana on 23rd March.

Japan-based Olunga picked an hamstring injury over the weekend in a league match against Albirex Niigata.

Jesse was initially omitted from squad causing an uproar from fans who felt he deserved a call up owing to his current rich vein of form for Zesco in the Zambian league.
