A suspected burglar was shot and killed in a failed attempt at a resort in Kombewa area, Kisumu County. Police said the incident happened Monday August 18 dawn when a group of five people tried to breach White House Resort. Police established it was the fifth such an attempt on the resort. A driver who was reversing his car fatally hit a boy aged two years in Biyamathow village, Habaswain, Wajir County. The incident happened on Sunday August 17 evening outside a homestead, police said. Police said Esther Kadogo was an employee of Teatot Hotel and a caretaker of a farm in the area. A man collapsed and died after he had arrived at his Limuru Town home in Kiambu County.
