At least 12 people were killed following a fatal road accident involving a Nissan matatu and a lorry at Arimi along Njoro Elburgon Road, Nakuru County. The fatal accident occurred on Thursday night when the lorry collided with the 14-seater passenger vehicle.

The bodies of a journalist and his partner have been found in South Africa in an advanced stage of decomposition, more than two months after they went missing, local media groups have said. At least three people were killed when a quarry collapsed in Kokotoni village, on the outskirts of Malindi town. The victims included a man and his wife, police said. Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) hit the two trillion mark after collecting Sh2.112 trillion as of April 30, 2025. The collection reflects a performance rate of 96.5% against the target of Sh2.189 trillion. A man accused of crashing his car through the gates of actor Jennifer Aniston’s home has been charged with stalking and vandalism. Gunmen struck a village in Banisa constituency, Mandera County and killed six people including a six month old baby. Police said the incident happened in Malkamari Division, near the Muruthow area of Banisa constituency in Mandera County. Four other people were injured in the attack on Wednesday night.
