The national and county governments have reached an agreement to pay the debt owed to the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority, President William Ruto has said. A student with the Kenya Medical Training College in Kitale was stabbed and killed during a confrontation with his girlfriend at their residential house. Police said the assailant is missing after the murder incident on Sunday December 1 in Huruma area. The deceased was identified as Benedict Kiptoo, 24 who was a clinical medicine student at the college. A middle-aged man was found in a guest room he had been booked into along Kirinyaga Road, Nairobi. A cleaner at the Wakulima Guest House reported a man who had booked the room on Saturday morning had not walked out. The cleaner said she wanted to clean the room on Sunday December 1 morning and realized there was no response to her knocks on the door. The body of a police officer was found in his workplace after a suspected suicide incident in Nyeri Town. The incident happened on Saturday November 30 at the Nyeri Central Sub County offices, police said. Constable George Kimiti Gichuki was the armorer at the Administration Police Service offices where he died. His body was found on the floor and he is said to have his AK47 rifle to shoot himself in the chest. The bullet went through the back killing him instantly, police said.
