At least two Cabinet Secretaries were Tuesday dramatically locked out of State House in Nairobi after arriving at an official event late. They were to sign performance contracts at the State House at the event presided over by President William Ruto. Kenyatta National Hospital Monday announced a milestone in foetal medicine after the successful transfusion of a baby while still in the mother’s uterus. A family in Kisumu’s Nyalenda estate is mourning the deaths of two sons who succumbed to injuries inflicted on them by police during anti-government protests two weeks ago. A man was Monday morning killed in a fire incident in Nairobi’s Kibera slums. Police said Cosmas Ngei suffocated in his house during the incident. At least 44 people have been killed in an explosion in Pakistan during a rally organised by an Islamist party. More than 100 people were also injured in the explosion in north-west Bajaur district, where Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) was holding a meeting.
