It is intimated to this writer that Evans Makori (Presenter at Minto FM) invited Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi to discuss the BBI among other things on the station. East African Development Bank (EADB) is embroiled in a loan tussle with Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju amounting to Ksh1.5 billion. The loan was advanced to Tuju’s Dari Limited for the construction of Ksh100 million two-storey, flat-roofed bungalows sitting on a 20-acre forested land dubbed Entim Sidai and purchase of a 94-year-old bungalow built by a Scottish missionary, Dr Albert Patterson, which currently operates as a high-end restaurant. There was a fight at Kenya Pipeline and yesterday (2 January) after acting Kisumu Kenya Pipeline depot manager John Chege refused to obey orders by the Principal Secretary Petroleum Andrew Kamau. The government is on the spot after it merged that Antiretroviral (ARVs) drugs meant for Kenyans were last year shipped to a country in West Africa after the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) demanded tax. The drugs donated by the United States government, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), landed in the port of Mombasa in October last year. Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko is a mysterious man, from how he shot into the political arena to his personal life. The man arrested for disrupting a Inua Mama rally in Wajir county on Friday was allegedly paid by Wajir Woman Representative Fatuma Gedi. The French School of Nairobi along Argwings Kodhek Road near Yaya Centre is on the spot over alleged racial discrimination, employment malpractices and tax evasion.
