Kenya has confirmed one more case of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections confirmed in the country to four. Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe stated on Tuesday that the patient was isolated in one of the country’s private facilities. The latest case was confirmed today at the National Influenza Centre (NIC) Laboratory. The patient is reported to have travelled from London on March 8 and arrived in the country on March 9. A 47-year-old Kenyan man has been isolated at Londiani Sub-County Hospital in Kericho County after exhibiting coronavirus (COVID-19)-like symptoms. Reports indicate that the man, a cleric, was rushed to the facility after he complained of severe cough and weak joints after arriving recently from Mombasa where he was attending a meeting. The man was rushed to the facility by his wife. Medics at the hospital advised that he be quarantined awaiting test results. The High Court has extended orders barring the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) from accessing Keroche Breweries bank accounts to collect Ksh9 billion tax. The authority had requested the court to overturn the stay order that was issued on Friday by Justice David Majanja. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has suspended the issuance of Certificates of Good Conduct in the wake of Coronavirus (COVID-19) fears. In a statement on Sunday night, the DCI stated that as part of measures aimed at reducing the spread of coronavirus in the country, the issuance of the crucial document now known as Police Clearance Certificates will remain suspended for the next two weeks. Mbagathi Hospital is one of the facilities tasked with handling COVID-19 cases in the country. The government has shelved a plan to hold a simulation exercise on coronavirus (COVID-19) preparedness in the country. The Ministry of Health was expected to carry out the drill today (Sunday) at Kenyatta National Hositaptal (KNH)  and Mbagathi Hospital in Nairobi at around 11 am.
