The Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi has stated that the recently unveiled Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report can’t be accepted in parliament in its current form. Chief Inspector Sabina Kerubo, a suspect in the gruesome murder of Star Newspaper journalist Eric Oloo, has been detained for 14 days. The officer was arraigned on Monday at Siaya Law Courts. She did not take a plea. The prosecution led by Tracey Nambisia had requested Principal Magistrate James Ong’ondo to detain the suspect for 14 days to conclude investigations. Three more suspects linked with the murder of Rai Cement Managing Director Chetan Vyas have been arrested. The three, believed to be assailants who were captured on surveillance cameras on the day the Vyas was murdered,  were arrested at Njoro in Nakuru County on Sunday by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). Six roads in Nairobi will be closed on Sunday, December 1, to pave way for the Grand Nairobi Bike Race. In a notice on Monday, Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA), announced that the race will start at 8.00 AM and end at 12:30 PM.
