Three months after immediate Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso’s death, it has emerged that the family owes a London hospital Ksh2 million. Dockworkers at the Standard Gauge Railway Syokimau station were on Saturday treated to a rare dramatic incident after a man was found inside a sealed empty container. Four people died on Sunday morning after two vehicles collided head-on at Emali along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. Makueni County Police Commander Ole Napeiyan confirmed the incident saying the driver of one of the cars, which was headed to Mombasa from Nairobi, attempted to overtake and rammed into an oncoming car. The government has dismissed reports that the burial site of freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi has been found at Kamiti Maximum Prison. Kimathi’s family had issued a statement on Friday stating that that the site where the Mau Mau fighter was buried had been found, 62 years ago after he was executed by the colonialists. Investigations into the brutal murder of Catholic Priest Michael Kyengo have taken a new twist after it emerged that the man of the cloth might have been killed in an occult sacrifice.
