Police in Yala, Siaya County, have launched a manhunt for a 28-year-old man who allegedly murdered his neighbor. According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), George Onyango clobbered 30-year-old Marvin Onyango to death in Onyoso village after he mocked his bedroom skills. One person has been reported dead and several others injured after a wall of a building collapsed at Parklands, Nairobi, on Thursday. Eyewitnesses said the wall adjacent to another building under construction came tumbling down fatally injuring a male worker at the site located in Parklands Fifth Avenue. 77 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Kenya, from a sample size of 2,415 tested in the last 24 hours. The country’s positivity rate is now at 3.2 percent. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Monday launched the Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) drive at the Nakuru Athletic Club in Nakuru County. A robbery suspect was on Sunday morning killed in Nairobi after his gang was caught by police terrorising city residents. According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the gang of three was robbing residents of their valuables at gunpoint. The government has warned members of the public against engaging brokers in an attempt to skip the e-citizen appointment system while seeking passport services. In a statement on Thursday, Immigration Department Director General Alexandar Muteshi said the government will not process documents of individuals found contravening the directive. “The public is strongly advised to avoid engaging brokers who use unorthodox means to attempt to bypass the e-citizen appointment system.
