Five former MPs from the Rift Valley have endorsed NASA Presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

The MPs were among hundreds of local leaders from the Rift Valley who hosted the NASA presidential candidate and his team in Eldoret yesterday.

They include David Koech (Mosop), Elijah Lagat(Chesumei), Stephen Tarus (Emgwen), Jesse Maizs (Eldoret South) and former powerful cabinet minister in the Moi-era John Cheruiyot.

“This time round the Kalenjin nation will not be left behind. Come rain come sunshine we will campaign and vote for Raila Amolo Odinga,”said David Koech.

Jubilee through Deputy President William Samoei Ruto has blasted the group, calling them self-seekers and madmen.

NASA forays in the rift valley is led by Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto.

Raila also got a boost from retired army commander General (Rtd) Augustine Cheruiyot, often accused of having planned the inter-ethnic violence that rocked the region in 2007.
