Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has said she will deliver over 960,000 votes to Raila Odinga for a first round win in the upcoming presidential elections.

Ngilu said that President Uhuru Kenyatta garnered more than 15% more votes than he had garnered from the region in 2013 and that she would ensure that this does not happen again.

Her Makueni counterpart Kivutha Kibwana is also expected to campaign for Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka in his region.

Ngilu asked all her MPs and MCAs to be ready to campaign for NASA as their votes belonged to the said coalition.

The Kitui governor also warned the President against insulting the supreme court judges and the NASA presidential candidate. She termed the recent utterances as dictatorial tendencies.

Charity Ngilu stated that the outburst raised eyebrows as to whether the August 8 elections were indeed credible.

NASA has resorted to protect their votes by deploying the loyal legislators to Jubilee stronghold areas to be party agents.
