Corine Mbiakectha Nana, who took over in 2012 as the new Managing Director of Oracle Kenya hub is being accused of hounding Kenyans from their positions at the tech giant.

Corine heads the Oracle Kenya Hub which is in charge of developing and managing revenue of Oracle in 25 countries in Africa from the hub.

She is a Cameroonian who also sat in the panel which interview candidates for the position she later gave herself. Corine has already sacked Paul Angatia, Flavour Mangula, Charles Gichobi, Ann Njiamwe, Zebedeo Nyamonga and Njeri Maina.

Ade Famoti from Nigeria had a poor show in South Africa and was dropped from the company’s staff employment before being recruited by Corine to take up his current position as the

Bob Hroch was brought in by Corine to replace Ann Njiamwe as Public Sector Sales Director, Ade Famoti replaced Paul Angatia as Commercial Sales Director while Piotr Piowowarczyk replaced Zebedeo Nyamonga as Regional Technical Consulting Leader. Zebedeo was relegated to a junior post.

Corine further sacked and scrapped the positions of Flavour Mangula and Charles Gichobi positions were scraped while Njeri Maina’s position as Business Development & Strategic Initiatives Manager has been filled by Pramod Nair.

The mass removal of Kenyans from the Oracle Kenya Hub positions have raised eyebrows with local staff now fearing that the new boss is intentionally targeting Kenyans for removal without any clear reasons.

The positions which foreigners were brought in to perform are mostly marketing positions which can only be done by Kenyans as per the immigration regulations.

All the foreigners brought in by Corine have no documents to work in the country, nor are they working to attain any as their positions doesn’t even qualify them to work in the country.

While removing the Kenyans with the help of disgraced former Samsung Kenya executive Mugo Mukunya (HR Lead) and Muthoni Wanyoike (Compliance and Legal Lead), Corine has been indicating that the positions are being scrapped while in the real sense, she advertises most of them even before the Kenyans finishes clearing out.

Pleas to the immigration department of the Interior Ministry to intervene have mostly fell on deaf ears as it is believed that key officials at the immigration department were bribed to look away.

Corine took over from Dr. Gilbert Saggia, who became the Managing Director of SAP East Africa.
