Career
Nmecha joined Manchester City’s academy in 2007 after his family relocated to England.
He progressed through the youth ranks and made occasional first-team appearances, including in the EFL Cup and UEFA Champions League.
However, with limited senior opportunities, he left City upon the expiry of his contract in 2021.
He then joined VfL Wolfsburg in Germany, reuniting with his brother Lukas.
At Wolfsburg, Felix gained valuable Bundesliga experience, making over 40 league appearances and scoring goals, including a brace in one match.
In 2023, he transferred to Borussia Dortmund on a five-year deal, where he has become an important squad member, featuring regularly in the league and European competitions while continuing to develop his all-action midfield style.
Internationally, Nmecha represented both England and Germany at youth levels before committing to Germany.
