Former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Faith Odhiambo has joined the Linda Mwananchi movement, a political outfit associated with a faction of leaders within the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

Her entry into the movement was welcomed by several leaders, including Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.

Taking to social media, Sifuna hinted at Odhiambo’s possible participation in the movement’s upcoming activities.

“Signing moja mwecheche imebidi kikosi mzima ipokee Mheshimiwa Rais. Akuje Thika Sunday?” he wrote.

Suba South MP Caroli Omondi also welcomed Odhiambo, describing her decision as a bold step.

“A warm welcome to Madam Faith Odhiambo, LSK President Emerita, on joining Linda Mwananchi. Fortune favours the brave,” Omondi posted on social media.

Odhiambo’s move comes just days after former Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter joined the movement.

Sources within the outfit indicate that Odhiambo could be officially unveiled during the Linda Mwananchi tour scheduled for Sunday in Thika.

Linda Mwananchi is a youth-driven political movement formed by leaders within ODM who oppose the party’s cooperation with President William Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza administration.

The movement has positioned itself as an alternative opposition platform ahead of the 2027 General Election, advocating for a one-term presidency for Ruto under its “One Term” campaign slogan.

In recent months, the group has held rallies in several parts of the country, including Nairobi, Machakos, Nakuru, Mombasa and Kakamega, as it seeks to expand its support base.
