Gauri Khan, born Gauri Chhibber on 8 October 1970 in New Delhi, India, is an Indian film producer, interior designer, and entrepreneur.
She is best known as the wife of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and as a successful businesswoman in her own right.
Raised in a Punjabi Hindu family in Delhi, she has built a distinct professional identity beyond her high-profile marriage, establishing herself as a key figure in film production and luxury interior design.
Siblings
Gauri was born to Colonel Ramesh Chandra Chhibber, an army officer, and Savita Chhibber.
She has one brother, Vikrant Chibber.
She completed her schooling at Loreto Convent School and Modern School in Delhi before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Lady Shri Ram College.

Career
Khan co-founded the production company Red Chillies Entertainment with her husband in the early 2000s.
She has served as a producer on several successful Hindi films under the banner, including Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, Ra.One, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Dilwale, Raees, and more recent titles such as Jawan.
Her involvement extends to overseeing business operations of the company.
Parallel to her work in film, Gauri developed a strong passion for interior design that began with renovating their family home, Mannat.
In 2013 she formally launched Gauri Khan Designs, a luxury interior design studio based in Mumbai.
The firm has undertaken high-profile residential and commercial projects for clients including various Bollywood personalities and public figures.
She has expanded the brand with experience centres and continues to work on design commissions that reflect a blend of personal style and professional craftsmanship.
Earlier in her career she also hosted a music countdown show and has been associated with fashion and lifestyle ventures.
