Gusii LeadersKenyans on Twitter had hilarious reactions to how the Gusii leaders pounced on the food at State House Nakuru during a meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The caterers were forced to run for dear life as the leaders asked for more food to be produced.

KoT did not spare them as they questioned the leaders motive for attending the meeting; food or support for the President.

The #GusiiBeggars . We have always suspected they go there to fill their stomachs and not Abagusii interests. These are outcasts! pic.twitter.com/jfawK7nQmV

Attention was however shifted to CS Fred Matiang’i for allowing school buses ferry the said leaders to state house.

The CS had directed that scholl buses not be used by the public to transact their businesses.

Aye @FredMatiangi does your directive not to use school buses to transact private business hold? I bet you had a hand in #GusiiBeggars pic.twitter.com/V7uX5W4jtW

Kenyans on twitter blamed the food scuffle on the economy while others just blamed it on greed as they said Kisii is blessed with abundance of food.

Others wondered why one would scramble for food while there is plenty at home.

The leaders have however rubbished the claims saying: “We went to discuss issues pertaining the security and safety of IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati and CEO Ezra Chiloba. The two are sons and daughters of the Bukusu community.”
