The Pick n Pay Smart Shopper programme allows customers to earn loyalty points every time they shop. These points can later be converted into cash vouchers or used for discounts on future purchases. If you are a Smart Shopper member, it’s important to keep track of your points balance to know how much you’ve earned and when your points might expire. Checking your Smart Shopper points online is quick and simple. Here’s how you can do it.

    1. Visit the Pick n Pay Website

The easiest way to check your Smart Shopper points online is through the official Pick n Pay website. The online platform gives you full access to your account details, including your transaction history and available points.

    1. Open your internet browser and go to www.pnp.co.za.
    2. On the top right corner of the homepage, click “Login/Register”.
    3. Sign in using the email address and password linked to your Smart Shopper account.
    4. Once logged in, navigate to the Smart Shopper section.
    5. You will see your current points balance, as well as details of your recent transactions and offers.

If you haven’t created an online account yet, you can register your Smart Shopper card by clicking “Register” and entering your card number, ID number, and personal details.

    1. Use the Pick n Pay Mobile App

Another convenient way to check your Smart Shopper points is through the Pick n Pay mobile app, available on both Android and iOS devices.

    1. Download and install the Pick n Pay app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
    2. Open the app and sign in using your Smart Shopper credentials.
    3. Once logged in, tap the Smart Shopper icon on the dashboard.
    4. Your points balance will be displayed at the top of the screen.

The app also allows you to activate exclusive coupons, link your card to your profile, and track your spending and rewards in real time.

    1. Check Points via Email or SMS Notifications

If you have opted in for Smart Shopper communication, Pick n Pay often sends you monthly balance updates via email or SMS. These messages show your total points and remind you of any expiring points. To ensure you receive these notifications, update your contact details under your Smart Shopper profile on the website or app.

    1. Contact Smart Shopper Customer Service

If you experience any issues logging in or your points aren’t displaying correctly, you can contact Smart Shopper Customer Care for assistance.

    • Call 0800 11 22 88 (available during working hours).
    • Or send an email to smartshopper@pnp.co.za with your ID number and card number.

A representative will help you check your balance and resolve any account issues.

    1. Visit a Pick n Pay Store Kiosk

Although not strictly “online,” you can also check your Smart Shopper points at an in-store Smart Shopper kiosk. Simply swipe your card at the kiosk, and your points balance will appear instantly.
