Keeping your apps updated ensures you have the latest features, bug fixes, and security improvements. Whether you prefer manual updates or want them to update automatically, here’s how to update apps on iPhone.

    1. Update Apps Manually from the App Store

If you want to update specific apps yourself:

    • Open the App Store on your iPhone.
    • Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
    • Scroll down to see a list of apps with available updates.
    • Tap Update next to an app or Update All to update all apps at once.
    1. Enable Automatic App Updates

If you don’t want to update apps manually, you can set your iPhone to update them automatically:

    • Open Settings and go to App Store.
    • Under Automatic Downloads, toggle on App Updates.

Now, your apps will update in the background when connected to Wi-Fi.

    1. Update Apps Using Mobile Data

If you want to update apps without Wi-Fi:

    • Go to Settings > App Store.
    • Under Cellular Data, toggle on Automatic Downloads.
    • If the update is large, you may need to confirm that you want to use mobile data.
    1. Troubleshooting App Update Issues

    If your apps aren’t updating:

    • Restart your iPhone and try again.
    • Check your internet connection—make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi or have enough mobile data.
    • Sign out and sign back into the App Store by going to Settings > Your Name > Sign Out, then signing in again.
    • Free up storage space if your iPhone is low on space by deleting unused apps or media.
