The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced the resumption of Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and the commencement of an Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise in five electoral areas for a period of one month.

In a Special Gazette Notice dated June 24, 2026, the electoral agency said the exercise will run from Thursday, June 25, 2026, to Saturday, July 25, 2026.

The voter registration exercise will be conducted in the electoral areas of Mbeere North Constituency, Porro County Assembly Ward, Endo County Assembly Ward, Emurua Dikirr Constituency and Malava Constituency.

According to the notice, registration services under the Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration programme will be offered daily throughout the registration period.

“Registration services under the ECVR shall be provided daily, from Monday to Sunday during the ECVR registration period,” the notice stated.

The exercise will be conducted at the County Assembly Ward level and at Constituency Offices, Huduma Centres, institutions of higher learning located within the specified electoral areas, as well as at the Commission’s Customer Experience Centre located on the Ground Floor of Anniversary Towers in Nairobi.

IEBC further noted that upon completion of the one-month Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration exercise, the regular Continuous Voter Registration programme and revision of the Register of Voters will continue at the respective Constituency Offices.

The commission said the ongoing voter registration services will be available from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, between 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
