    Grenade Hurled At Kalonzo’s Karen Home, Shots Fired

    kalonzoWiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s Karen home was on Tuesday night attacked by unknown gunmen.

    The men arrived in a private car, drove past the entrance and fired shots before hurling a grenade into the the compound.

    Nairobi DCI commander, Kamwende Ireri is on site with officers from the Bomb Detection Unit probing the 2am incident.

    ”They hurled a grenade and shot at the compound before driving off,” an officer told the Star.

    It is also said that the former Vice President was at home at the time of incident. No injuries have been reported.

    This comes hours after Kalonzo’s security detail was withdrawn by the government.

    He also conveniently, missed NASA leader, Raila Odinga’s swearing in ceremony at Uhuru Park.

    Odinga excused his co-principal who he assured the people would take the ‘oath’ at a later date.
