    KNEC Announces 21 Job Vacancies

    The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced 21 job openings for various positions on permanent and pensionable terms.

    In a public notice issued on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, KNEC Chief Executive Officer Dr. David Njengere said the recruitment will help strengthen the council’s capacity in delivering its mandate.

    KNEC is seeking to hire an Assistant Director, Examinations; a Principal ICT Officer; an Assistant Director; five ICT Officers; a Planning Officer; five Examinations Officers; two Human Resource Management Officers; two Examinations Administrators; and three Examinations Clerks.

    “The Council will offer a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the responsibilities of each position,” Njengere said in the notice.

    Qualified and interested candidates are required to fill in the Application for Employment Form KNEC 2A for external applicants or KNEC 2B for internal applicants.

    They must also submit an application letter, certified copies of academic and professional certificates, a detailed curriculum vitae with a daytime phone number, email address, current salary details (including a recent payslip), and contact information of three referees.
